Transducerised Pulse Tools |
|
| |
|
IEC is offering ATTP range of Transdurised Pulse Tool which can be used for regular
production in conjunction with Accura Pro i controller in a closed loop circuit.
Magneto Elastic Torque Sensing:
Magneto - Elastic Technology is based on torque-induced changes in the
magnetisation in load bearing elements of a rotating shaft. A circumferentially
magnetised element integrated with the shaft shares the torsional load and creates
an external magnetic field proportional to the applied torque. This external field can
be remotely sensed by a variety of magnetometers.
Magneto-Elastic non - contacting torque sensing technology is reliable, features simple construction, and is accurate over all speed range, including zero. |

| Range of Accura Rotary Transducers : |
IEC is offering a range of Inline Transducers for Third Party Quality Audits
ART 10 Rotatry Transducer - 1/4" HEX - Designed for use with screw drivers and
small pulse tools, the ART 10 is rated for torques ranging from 1-10 Nm or 8-88
In/lbs.
ART 75 Rotatry Transducer - 3/8" - Fitted with 3/8" square drives, the ART 75 is well
suited for all torques from 8-75 Nm. with an extended male shaft suited for use
with ergo-drive as well as common 3/8" drive sockets, the ART 75 works with
pulse tools and other high speed power tools.
|
|
|
ART 200 Rotary Transducer - 1/2" - The ART 200 covers all 1/2" square drive
applications from 20 up to 200 Nm.(17-175 ft./lbs). An extended male drive shaft
accommodates ergo-drive type sockets for wobble free operation. Well suited for
high speed tools to 10,000 RPM.
Salient features :
- ART Rotary Transducers set the standard for accurate dynamic torque measurement of all continuous drive and Pulse Tools with proven reliable performance in applications worldwide.
- ART Transducers fit in-line between the assembly tool and the fastener, measuring the actual torque applied under production conditions.
- The ART Torque Transducers series is excellent for Torque verification, Power or Hand Tool Testing as well as torque wrench calibration and General Auditing.

| Torque Monitor ATM-229P : |
|
Accurate measurement and torque control is essential to ensure that product quality, safety
and reliability is not compromised. The failure of the fastener that is not properly tightened
can lead to catastrophic failures. Fasteners that are insufficiently torqued can vibrate loose
while excessive torque can strip threaded fasteners.
Using a quality torque analyser has become increasingly important for many companies to
ensure that proper torque is being applied and provides gauge requirements associated with
the ISO 9002 Quality Standard.
The ATM-229P allows operators to easily adjust the power tool and quality inspectors to monitor and record in process tool performance on the assembly line. This will insure that failures associated with under or over torque fasteners do not occur.
|
|
Salient features :
- Menu driven setup
- OK and NOK indicator lights ( based on High / Low limits )
- Peak indicator for Pulse Tool use. Indicates when the socket has stopped.
- Peak indicator light for Pulse Tool use
- Shows when the torque curve has flattened indicating PEAK Torque has been reached.
- Can be used to teach the operator when to release the throttle for accurate control of Pulse Tools Torque.
- Indicates when the socket has stopped and that the torque of the application has reached "Yield".
- Dual Filter Circuits - Choose for direct Drive tools
- 50 Memory counts for statistics
- Range
- MEAN Value
- Cpk / Cp analysis
- High and Low sample values
- RS232 Printer port for downloading data to a computer spread sheet.
- Rugged construction with instrument case design
- Rechargeable gel cell battery - over 100 hours of runtime between charges
- Auto-Off circuit after 5 minutes of no activity conserves battery power
- Compatible with all ART series Rotary Torque Transducers
- Large back-lit 2-line display.

IEC leader in fastening technology introduces for the first time in India,
the ACCURA Pro-i Error Proofing Machine. In its efforts to offer the latest and meeting the user's assembly line requirements, IEC offers simple and remarkable solution.
|
The ACCURA Pro-i controller by IEC has been developed to address the industry need for a
controller that provides traceable torque validation (date and time stamped), is easy to
program and is available with common network-ready hardware using industry standard
protocols.
The ACCURA Pro-i provides precise torque control as well as multiple parameter set capability
and "poka-yoke" error proofing to standard Pulse and Impact tools.
Compact in design, the ACCURA Pro-i provides operator feedback via a large digital display and
tri-color LED's for fastener Counting, Parameter set Identification and point condition status.
There are
OK NOK indicators for finished cycle or batch evaluation and an audible (108 db) alarm for out-of-spec conditions. With eight parameter sets allowing different counts and application set-ups, one tool can be set to perform various applications using its full torque range saving time and installation costs. One or more tools can be attached to a single controller to cover a broad torque range or for repair station applications. |

Accura Pro-i Controller |
Accura Pro-i Advantages |
Automatically learns your assembly's fastener installation
characteristics. |
The Accura-i Torque controller is easy to set up. Fastener
characteristics are learned, not programmed. |
Monitors the fastening event by comparing learned
characteristics to those experienced during fastener installation. |
The Accura-i Torque controller finds variations of any type
including those from work piece, fastener or assembly tool. |
Monitors the entire assembly process including the number of
fasteners installed. |
Ensures that the process is correct for each and every
fastener. |
Error proof |
Errors identified as they happen. You have a choice of Error-
Proofing methods such as stopping the assembly at the work
bench or tagging it for later re-work. |
Torque flexibility |
One drive /Accura-i Torque Controller combination can
deliver up to 8 torques |
Affordability |
Less investment on equipment. Other systems can cost up to
four times as much. |
